  1. The lottery involves the purchase of a virtual stub raffle ticket via an electronic raffle system (ERS) approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and operated by Raffle Nexus Canada Inc. The winning tickets are determined by random number generator software which is integral to the ERS.
  2. Ticket sales are slated to commence at 12:00 pm on Thursday June 11th and close on Saturday Oct. 17th at 12:00 pm. Tickets will be available online at orilliacarlottery.ca.
  3. Ticket prices are 1 for $25, 3 for $50, 8 for $100 and 20 for $200. Since this lottery uses an electronic raffle system, tickets are not pre-printed but are individually generated to meet order demand. Maximum ticket quantity has been set at 20,000.
  4. The Rotary Club of Orillia is a registered charitable organization (11885 0031 RR0001). Net proceeds from the lottery will go to:
    • Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation
    • Sharing Place Foodbank
    • The Lighthouse
    • Mariposa House Hospice
    • The Couchiching Conservancy
    • Charitable Trust Fund of the Rotary Club of Orillia
  5. The Grand Prize is a 2026 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited valued at $62,238.05 inclusive of all taxes, freight charges, pre-delivery inspection (PDI) costs and dealer fees. The winner is responsible for licensing and insurance from the time of delivery.Bonus Prize is a Polaris Sportsman 450 ATV valued at $10,733.87 inclusive of all taxes, freight charges and dealer fees.

    There are 6 Early-Bird Prizes:

    • Early-Bird 1: Deerhurst Resort 3 nights’ accommodation Pavilion Room. 2 nights include breakfast. The 3rd night, excluding breakfast, is subject to Deerhurst booking limitations on certain days. Retail value including HST: $1,529.59
    • Early-Bird 2: Kayak Combo consisting of 2 kayaks, paddles, and PFDs. Total retail value including HST: $2,824.91
    • Early-Bird 3: Golf 4-some Monday through Thursday including carts, plus $200 restaurant voucher at THE ROCK Muskoka golf course. Total retail value including HST: $1,001.00
    • Early-Bird 4: 4 Toronto Blue Jays premium field level seats for Saturday August 29th versus Seattle Mariners. Total retail value including HST: $1,589.32
    • Early-Bird 5: Aventon Level 3 E-Bike. Total retail value including HST: $3,049.87
    • Early-Bird 6: Leon’s Furniture and TV package including sectional sofa, leather reclining chair and 65 in television. Total retail value including HST: $5,193.48

  6. Draw dates, times and locations are as follows, with sales cut-offs 90 minutes before the corresponding draw times for the Early-Bird prizes and 2 hours before the draw time for the Bonus Prize and Grand Prize:
    • Early Bird 1: Tuesday June 23rd, 6:30 pm, Creative Nomad Studios, Orillia
    • Early Bird 2: Tuesday July 14th, 6:30 pm, Creative Nomad Studios, Orillia
    • Early Bird 3: Tuesday July 28th, 6:30 pm, Creative Nomad Studios, Orillia
    • Early Bird 4: Tuesday August 11th, 6:30 pm, Creative Nomad Studios, Orillia
    • Early Bird 5: Tuesday Sept. 8th, 6:30 pm, Creative Nomad Studios, Orillia
    • Early Bird 6: Tuesday Sept. 29th, 6:30 pm, Creative Nomad Studios, Orillia
    • Bonus Prize & Grand Prize: Saturday Oct. 17th, 2:00 pm, Sunrise Toyota, Orillia

    Winners of any Early-Bird prizes as well as the Bonus Prize will remain eligible for the Grand Prize draw.

  7. Ticket purchasers must be in the Province of Ontario and at least 18 years of age at time of purchase. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of people under the age of 18.
  8. After purchase, customers will receive a confirmation email with their registered ticket numbers as generated by the ERS. No specific numbers can be chosen as numbers are generated randomly.
  9. Members of the Rotary Club of Orillia, their direct household members and other people involved in the conduct and management of this raffle lottery are prohibited from purchasing tickets.
  10. Complete draw results will be published on orilliacarlottery.ca, the Club’s main website and Facebook not later than 3 days after the draws. All winners will be notified by phone, email or regular mail within 7 days of the draw and provided instructions on how to redeem their prizes. Prizes are to be accepted as awarded with no cash options available.
  11. As per lottery licensing policy, winners have a period of six (6) months to claim their prize. Any prizes which are not claimed must be secured or placed in safekeeping for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. If at the end of six (6) months the prize has still not been claimed, the prize or monies equivalent to the fair market value of the prize must be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensing authority.
  12. By purchasing a lottery ticket, purchasers acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to the lottery rules and regulations. Ticket purchase implies binding consent for the Rotary Club of Orillia to release the winner’s name, municipality of residence and picture accepting their prize for promotional and reporting purposes.
  13. The Rotary Club of Orillia is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information. The Club will use ticket purchasers’ personal information to administer the lottery. The Club will also use personal information to send current and future lottery-related communications to ticket purchasers who provide express consent to use their personal information for that specific purpose.
  14. In the unlikely event that any of the draws are postponed due to technical difficulty, power interruption, emergency or other unforeseen event, the Rotary Club of Orillia, subject to the approval of the AGCO, will remedy the situation and then conduct the draw and announce the winner at the earliest possible opportunity.
